Kelli Kennedy, of the Associated Press, reports a man has sued Washington Redskins S Sean Taylor saying the NFL player brandished a gun at him and repeatedly hit him during a fight last June. Ryan Hill filed the suit, seeking at least $15,000 in damages, June 27 in Miami Dade Circuit Court. Taylor reached a deal with prosecutors last month after they agreed to drop felony charges against him in the incident. He pleaded no contest to two misdemeanors in the assault case and was sentenced to 18 months probation. "This is a useless, ridiculous lawsuit," Taylor's attorney Richard Sharpstein said Monday, July 3. "Hill stole Sean's property. Hill baited him, lured him and suckered him into a fight."

Prior makes his season debut today for Cubs

Currently a +118 underdog at home agains tthe Detroit Tigers and lefthander Kenny Rodgers. Thoughts??

Prior's final rehab start was for AAA Iowa on Tuesday night, where he went 6 2/3 innings, giving up four hits and one earned run, striking out 10. He threw 90 pitches in that game, and will probably be limited to about 80-90 pitches today.

Cubs manager Dusty Baker had this to say : ""It's been a long, hard road, but I'm glad that Mark's getting back on the mound. "Hopefully, we can keep him on the mound all year long."

Prior strained a muscle in his right shoulder in March and began the season on the disabled list for the third straight year. He began last season on the DL with a sore elbow, went back in May after taking a line drive in the elbow and finished 11-7 in 27 starts. He's been there six times in all.

Of the four playoff losses in the previous two rounds, the Mavs followed three with victories. Two wins were by double figures, and one was arguably their biggest postseason win ever -- Game 7 in San Antonio.

This is a stock that I have been buying and selling for a while. Just in the last 2 months I have bought this stock at $3.86 and then sold it out at $6.20 and $6.65. Corriente is a mining company with some potentionally very profitable mines. Their main goal will be to eventually sell these mines to a bigger company with the resources to mine them. I have a friend that is in constant contact and he remains very high on this company. This stock was recently moved from over the counter to the Amex. As you can see by the volume, this is not a stock that you will have problems fetting into and out of. I already own the stock presently at $4.36 and reloaded again today at $4.05

MY RECOMMENDATION:

Buy Corriente Resources Inc.

try to pay $4.20 or less


I will suggest stocks but ultimately you must decide what kind of a return you are looking for. My best advice is to set a % return that you would like to make and stick to it. I would also recommend this stock as a hold for those that like to invest and not worry too much about the day-to day happenings of your stocks. Right now I see great scalping potential in this stock but in the long term this stock is a hold for me.
